Under the guidance of Diderk Heinje the nursery has developed into one of the largest in the Oldenburgian region. Founded July 1st 1972, we have slowly increased our production area to 32 hectares of containers and 28 hectares of field production.
We
have recently built a new and larger state of the art
propagation unit away from the main nursery. Here we
can control the quality, quantity of our range to ensure
continuity. We have skilled craftsmen from propagation
to dispatch, producing top quality plants which is the
ethos that Diderk started and has built the business
on over the last 30 years.

We
major in rhododendrons, azaleas, pieris, heathers and
conifers. These we grow in large quantities and many
sizes, for example our annual heather production is
now over 2 million. However there is so much more to
Diderk Heinje nursery than that. As well developing
our core lines, over the years we have developed a diverse
range of other plants in many sizes. From specialist
large bonsai to top quality grafted patio trees and
from super sized 3 litres herbaceous to huge 10 litre
hydrangeas, you can be sure that we are looking to offer
you exciting seasonal opportunities to add to your plant
area throughout the year.
